Lovy Robotu Data Policy
Version: 13 October 2026.
1. About the service
Lovy Robotu («Лови Роботу», @lovyrobotu_bot) helps you find and save jobs, receive alerts and create personal cover letters.
Responsible for data - Lovy Robotu («Лови Роботу»).
For questions about your data, contact @lovyrobotum.
2. Data we use
For personalised search, we store your Telegram ID, language, search preferences, saved, hidden and shown jobs, notification settings, quiet hours and time zone. If you create named searches, we store their names, filters and alert preferences.
We also store your activation date, last visit, days of use and records of actions: setting up a search, showing and opening a job, saving a job and an application you mark yourself. These records help us assess how the service works. Profile contents are not included in these action records.
We store the date of your consent and the version of the text you accepted. Service records support message updates, delivery, abuse prevention and suppression of duplicate jobs. They may contain your Telegram ID, timestamps, job identifiers and delivery status.
You create a profile with separate consent. It may contain your name, desired role, experience, skills, languages, achievements and contact details you choose to enter.
For a cover letter, we store the latest draft, selected job, facts used, hints and any additional example you provide. If you edit the draft manually, we store your latest version.
Certificates require separate consent. You can add up to 5 records with titles, links or PDF metadata for files up to 10 MB. For a PDF, we store its filename, size and Telegram file identifiers. The file itself stays in Telegram; the bot does not download or read its contents.
If you use application tracking, reasons for hiding a job or job reports, we store your entries, selected reasons and dates. Opening a website does not confirm that you submitted an application.
If you submit a job as an employer, we store the author's Telegram ID, listing text, conditions and contact information. Before submitting it for review, you confirm your right to publish these details. Once approved, the job text and contact details are available to other bot users.
3. Purposes and consent
We use the data to select and save jobs, send alerts, prevent repeats, create cover letters, manage certificates, review reports, moderate listings and support the service.
You consent to personalised search by selecting "I agree, let's start" after access to this policy. If you decline, personalised search and job alerts are not activated. The policy, support and data deletion remain available.
Telegram sends technical details to the bot as soon as you contact it. Before you confirm, we use minimal details to reply, display the policy and prevent abuse; we do not create personal search settings or usage statistics.
Profiles and certificates are optional and require separate confirmation. Consent to job search is not consent to advertising messages. If we introduce advertising broadcasts, we will offer a separate voluntary choice.
4. Letters, access and sharing
Letters are generated locally from the facts you enter.
We undertake not to sell or publish your profile, certificate or personal search data. We do not share it with employers, advertisers or external AI. An exception applies to disclosure required by law. You send letters and certificates to employers yourself. Telegram processes messages and files under its own policy.
Stored data and managed backups are encrypted, with the key stored separately. The controller who holds the key has technical access to the data.
Country where the bot's data is stored: Ukraine.
Telegram provides message and file transmission. Its processing is governed by its own policy: https://telegram.org/privacy.
Opening a job link, certificate link or application form takes you to an external service. It processes any information you enter there under its own rules. The bot does not pass your profile through that link.
Public job listings may contain employer or recruiter contact details. To request correction or removal of a listing, report it in the bot or contact @lovyrobotum.
5. Retention
Main settings, your profile and saved materials are retained while you use the bot. After 90 days of inactivity, personal records are deleted at the next check.
The latest letter draft and its additional facts are cleared after 24 hours at the next check or interaction. Employer listing drafts have the same retention period; approved listings remain available for 7 days.
Daily activity history is limited to 35 days; the job fingerprint history used to suppress repeats is limited to 7 days. Admin login attempts are tracked in the current 15-minute window. Expired records are removed at the relevant check.
Managed backups are created approximately daily, and up to 14 are retained. When you delete your user record, profile, letter or certificate, the corresponding details are also removed from these backups. Separate copies made by the controller must be cleared in response to the same request. When the service closes, the controller deletes the stored user data.
6. Your choices and deletion
You can edit your profile and settings in the bot. You can remove a certificate individually.
After confirmation, /deleteprofile removes your profile, latest letter and certificate records. Your search settings remain.
/delete withdraws consent to personalised search, deletes your stored data from the bot and removes you from pending broadcasts. Using the bot again starts with fresh consent. If you submitted jobs as an employer, your submissions and published listings in the bot are removed too.
Pausing search stops job alerts but does not delete your data. Quiet hours defer these alerts until the permitted time. General owner announcements go to all users whose records remain in the bot, regardless of paused search or consent to personalised search. There is no separate switch for these announcements. /delete removes your record and excludes you from future broadcasts. Blocking the bot in Telegram prevents delivery.
Deletion commands do not remove messages and files already delivered through Telegram. Delete those copies in Telegram separately.
7. Your rights and requests
You can learn what data about you is processed, for which purposes and with whom it is shared; access your data, request corrections, object to processing, withdraw consent and request deletion in the circumstances provided by law.
Send data requests to @lovyrobotum. You may also contact the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or seek protection of your rights in court.
Job selections and letter drafts are recommendations. The bot does not make hiring decisions or confirm that an employer received your application.
8. Policy changes
We update the policy date and version when it changes. If new purposes or uses require new consent, we ask for it before starting that processing. Previous consent does not automatically cover new purposes.
9. The service's role
You provide your profile and certificates voluntarily. Choosing not to complete them does not restrict job search.
For personalised search, the bot uses your Telegram ID, filters, actions on job listings and notification settings in accordance with the data policy.
We use encryption and access restrictions. We do not sell or publish your profile or personal search data.
The bot helps you find jobs and prepare letters. It does not guarantee employment or a reply from an employer. You review and send the letter yourself.
These terms do not limit your legal rights or exclude the service's liability under applicable law.
